Job Announcement: Automotive Technician

Larkin's GMC in Tomah WI is looking for a motivated, experienced Auto Technician to join our team. We are a successful family owned and operated business that provides automotive services related to auto repair, sales, and towing to our area. Responsibilities:

We work on all makes and models and on a wide variety of repairs. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and air conditioing in a timely manner
• Communication with Parts and Service Advisors
• Road test vehicles when required
• Perform quality inspections of vehicle repairs prior to returning the vehicle to the customer as well as ensuring customers vehicle is kept clean
• Ensure that required documentation is completed and accurate
• Reports machine defects and malfunctions
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge about the automotive industry
• Ensure that workspace is kept clean and equipment and tools are kept in good condition and stored properly

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as an Automotive Technician
• ASE/Manufacturer Certifications (Preferred)
• Diagnostic ability
• Troubleshooting skills
• Commitment to quality
• Team Player
• Good communicator
• Personal set of tools
• Valid/clean driving record
